Cooking Class · Sorrento
Sorrento is the cooking-class base for the whole Amalfi Coast. Rather than a city kitchen, most classes here take you up into the lemon-terraced hills above the Gulf of Naples, where a local family teaches you their pizza or pasta in a working farmhouse with a sea view. You knead the dough, cook over a wood fire, then sit down to eat with the family’s own wine and a glass of homemade limoncello.
If you’re searching for an Amalfi Coast cooking class but staying in Sorrento, this is it — closer, cheaper, and easier to reach than Positano or Amalfi town. Expect hands-on gnocchi and fresh pasta, real Neapolitan-style pizza, garden vegetables picked that morning, and lemons straight off the tree. It’s a half-day that doubles as the most scenic meal of your trip.

"We loved it! Great family and such a fun experience"
"We had such a wonderful time. The farm was beautiful and the family running it are genuinely lovely people. Anna was hilarious and really made the experience. She took some great pictures and videos for us whilst we made our pizza. Despite my partner and I usually being hopeless in the kitchen, the pizza ended up being delicious. The ingredients, samples, limoncello and wine were all fresh and made in house. We met some great people from all over the world due to the intimate and friendly atmosphere. Definitely our favourite activity during our stay in Sorrento, and well worth the price."

"The husband and wife that ran this tour were fantastic. Amazing property with views of Naples and Vesuvius. Making the pizzas was fun and the family style dinner was great. Highly recommend!"
"This was one of the best activities that we did while in Italy! The family was so welcoming, Anna, our instructor, was amazing and food was outstanding! All of the ingredients were fresh and grown on the farm. We started the evening by making the crust, then making the pizzas with sauce and cheese made by the family. We ate the pizzas, drank homemade wine and limoncello and enjoyed the company of the other guests from all over the world. The venue is beautiful, the views from atop the mountain were spectacular. I would highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed!"
